Student Council is a group of students dedicated to helping bridge the student-administration gap through providing a means for student expression, leadership, and assistance in school affairs and activities. Our mission is to promote citizenship, scholarship, leadership, human relations, and cultural values, through our work, which is designed by students, for students.

We are a group of innovators, collaborators, leaders, and community members who seek to best represent Southwest's diverse student body through creative solutions that embrace the needs of all stakeholders in the Southwest community. Engaging students within the decisions that affect them is our priority,  and developing the relationship between administration, staff, parents, and students is our focus.
